The Eastern Regional Co-ordinating Council (ERCC) held the 18th Edition of the Eastern Regional Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols in Koforidua, marking the first service hosted by the Regional Minister Mrs. Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey.
In her Christmas message, Mrs. Awatey called on the public to embrace compassion, unity, humility, and selfless service, while reflecting on the true meaning of Christmas. She commended public servants for their dedication and professionalism, noting that their efforts drive the region’s development and progress.
The Regional Minister expressed appreciation to the clergy, choral groups, readers, and organisers for contributing to the success of the programme and urged the public to celebrate the yuletide season responsibly while observing safety and security measures.
She wished residents of the Eastern Region a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year!
