Centre for National Culture Pays Courtesy Call on Eastern Regional Minister

On Monday, 10th March 2025, the Centre for National Culture (CNC) in the Eastern Region, led by the Regional Director, Madam Dorcas Salamatu Alhassan, paid a courtesy call on the Eastern Regional Minister, Mrs. Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey.

The visit was to congratulate the Minister on her appointment and express their support for cultural development in the region. The delegation also raised key concerns affecting the Centre, particularly their request for assistance in securing accommodation for senior staff from available RCC housing, among other challenges.

Mrs. Awatey welcomed the delegation and assured them of her commitment to working with relevant stakeholders to address their concerns. She acknowledged the vital role of the Centre for National Culture in preserving and promoting Ghana’s arts and heritage.
She emphasized the importance of collaboration to enhance its impact in the region.
