REPORT ON A DAY PERFORMANCE REVIEW OF INTEGRATED SOCIAL SERVICE DELIVERY (ISSD) FOR TWELVE (12) MMDAs

As part of the monitoring and supervision mandate of Regional Directorates of the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development, the day’s performance review workshop organized was to ascertain the performance of the Integrated Social Service Delivery (ISSD) program from the twelve (12) Districts in the region, provide technical backstopping and share best practices amongst the implementing Districts.

The presentation was categorized into two sessions in the following thematic areas; Action Plan including the itemized request and cost sheets, Implementation, Coverage Areas, Innovations, Challenges, and Success stories.

Across the twelve MMDAs, stakeholders of the program included both state and non-state actors like; Ghana Education Service (GES), Ghana Health Service (GHS), Traditional Authorities, Religious groups, Ghana Police Service, Assembly members, Non- Profit Organizations, Faith Based Organizations, National Commission on Civic Education (NCCE), community members, Persons With Disabilities (PWDs), National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Ghana Prisons Service, Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), Births and Deaths Registry, Media, and Information Service Department (ISD).
