His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has begun his three-day official visit the Eastern Region at Nkawkaw where he had a radio interview at Obuorba FM, one of the leading radio stations in the Eastern Region.
He has also inspected the ongoing rehabilitation of Kwahu Atibie Government Hospital which before now, had yet to receive major renovation works since its construction in the year 1948.
He also cut sod for the Construction of the Mpraeso- wheewhee-Onyimso and upgrading of Begoro- Dewerebiase road. The 66.1.km road is being constructed by MARIPOMA ENT.LTD under the supervision of Ghana Highways Authority and funded by government of Ghana.
President ended his visit to the Kwahu bloc by paying a courtesy call on the Obo Kwahuhene and Nifahene of Kwahu Traditional Area, Osabarima Afari Obuoagyan II.
The President is expected to interact with Traditional Authorities, inspect ongoing projects and commission of completed projects in the region.
