In attendance was the Hon. Eastern Regional Minister.<br \/>\nThe Regional Minister, Hon. Seth Kwame Acheampong, in addressing the audience emphasized the importance of research, innovation, and technology transfer in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He made these remarks during the 12th International Applied Research Conference and Technology Fair held at Koforidua Technical University. In the agriculture sector, for instance, technology transfer has led to the adoption of improved seeds, fertilizers, and irrigation systems. In the health sector, it has facilitated access to essential medicines, vaccines, diagnostics, and medical devices, resulting in improved health outcomes and reduced health disparities.
